During lockdown I started a children's YouTube joke show called School's Out Comedy Club. The idea was that the kids sent in their favourite jokes for me to perform as part of the show.

Now I've self-published a collection of all the jokes into this children's joke book … plus a few of my own, cheekily thrown in for good measure!

All profits from the sales of this book will be donated to FareShare, redistributing surplus food to charities that turn it into meals. This is especially important at the moment in ensuring that vulnerable families and especially children don't go hungry during these very uncertain times. The campaign was given prominence by footballer Marcus Rashford, so I'm delighted to be able to do my bit to support this cause also.

If you'd like to add a further donation to FareShare you can do so HERE.

Here are a few jokes to get you started:

What type of key opens a banana?

A monkey.

(Jack, 8, St Albans)

What do lawyers wear to court?

Lawsuits.

(Denali, 9, Kaiserslautern, Germany)

I asked my pet lion how he liked his meat.

He said “ROAR!!!”

(Philip, 41, Hertfordshire)

The book also includes a colouring in section where the children can colour some of Joe Bor's fantastic illustrations, making this a truly interactive and fun gift for any young people.
